What i would like to know is, why now? Some of these crimes were committed years ago.
I'd also like to know what other countries have had criminals deported in this way? Can you imagine a group of Israelis being rounded up and deported by the plane load? The government wouldn't dare for fear of being labelled anti-semetic as Rachel Riley strapped herself to the tarmac so the plane couldn't take off!

He is banned of both Fb and Instagram and inciting violence was one of the reasons. I had posted links to.footage of him specifically instructing people as a rally to.wage war on muslims but not sure if it's been taken down.

As someone who is pretty left wing I have no problem with deporting Rapists, Drug Dealers etc. Why would anyone have an issue with this

It's easy for me, I want ANY rapist, murderer, peado gang member, child sex offender of any skin colour who are NOT of UK origin (ie: born here) chucked back to their origins. When given a stay of residency all those given this should be supplied a 'residency passport' which states the rules and consequences if you commit high level crime over here. Petty crime (like this bloke with the mobile phone conviction) should be on a 3 strike basis on COURT appearances for criminal charges. This then sorts whether these people are consistent trouble for the justice system as a whole or just made a stupid choice, so they can redeem themselves.
The only ones this could probably be unfair to is non-UK citizen drug addicts feeding their habit by criminal acts, and I would be willing to take the flack on that as they may finally get rid of their addiction by going back to their origins in some cases and having cold Turkey treatment or stronger consequences.
Sometimes things just ain't our problem but are if they remain here.

And it could be just a discussion about the actual technical principal of how the law is applied. I.e. why are minors responsible (or bear the brunt) for the actions/inactions of their parents in terms of immigration?
Forget the emotion. What is the logic behind that?
But this is WHO, not the Economist so emotive bollocks is what you get sadly.. (and yes I am an idiot to expect decent discourse on this site just like me expecting West Ham to not be fighting relegation every other year!)

The issue concerning this type of discussion is that even inocent comments can be emotive.
You run the risk of being labelled as racist or a "wet liberal" and the debate can quickly decend into insults and personal attacks and nobody comes out it in a good light.
I personally have opinions that could easily be construed either way (wet liberal and racist). Whilst I would take it on the chin if I was labelled a "wet liberal" I would be deeply offended if I was called a racist.
Furthermore, I would be concerned if some of my opinions incited anyone to dislike someone on the grounds of race, religion or colour of skin.

You seem a lot more concerned about him the those who go to pubs to slit open the necks of men and women enjoying a few drinks, blowing up adults and children on trains, raping young girls in gangs etc, so I'll be interested to know what he's done that's worse than all that. Thanks.
